Installed AWE intercoolers yesterday.

It was a very easy install and I've included some pics to show you. Mike at AWE has always given me great advise. (except for making me do shots past 4am. but he did totally redeem himself on the dance floor ) Thanks Mike and the crew at BBI for letting me have free reign on their tools/shop. Life is cool with bigger intercoolers and friends.

That DJ loved us!

Nice work on the self installation. Makes me happy that you don't have to be a trained pro to put these one.

HI,They are excellent intercoolers and the guys are top notch there. They should help and you should feel a difference....Check to see if on the left side upper hose ,going into the Y pipe, that your inside left deck strut/support on the front lower side does not rub on the hose......

I only drove the car home. I'm in the middle of stripping it down and replacing heavy carpet with light weight stuff now. I'm itching to get on it though and will probably do a canyon run this weekend. I'll post up a reply afterwards and let everyone know how they feel.

Haha,
Well the daily drive thru some twisties have made me a happy camper with my AWE intercoolers. It feels as if the turbos aren't starving and in the middle of a hot day it ran as strong as it did on a chilly night. Very strong. I'll be visiting some tracks soon and will reply back with how they feel on longer runs.

Just got back from Chuckawalla raceway with the car. The intercoolers made a huge difference. We had the whole track to ourselves the entire day so track time was not an issue. Heat and driver exhaustion was though. My car ran strong the whole day from first lap till last every session with no power loss. Usually by the end of a session you can feel the car loose it's ***** and this was not the case. This was my 2nd time driving here and first time with slicks on the car with a 1.55.04 lap time being my fastest. I'm still running stock calipers and need to stiffen up my PSS10's but I was very pleased with the intercoolers.
