Help - Spark plug tightening torque advice

I just did my plugs and coils and had a question with regards to the proper tightening torque for the spark plugs. The Porsche maintenance manual states the tightening torque as 22 ft/lb +2. I was a little confused by this but I initially tightened the plugs to 22 ft/lb and then added 2 ft/lb and tightened to 24 ft/lb. Is that correct or should I have tightened each plug only to 22 ft/lb?? I still haven't reinstalled the intercoolers so I could go back in to re-torque it if need be. Thanks

It should be + or - 2 which would mean either 18 or 24 ft lbs as the range so you are fine.
