replacing head unit in 03 with bose MOST system

Is there a good diy for this? I've been searching here and renntech but haven't found much. Thanks for any input!

Why bother unless you got the Bose system for free including the CD changer, speakers, rear sub woofer box, all the cabling (w MOST fiber optic loop), and interior trim parts for free. The system isn't that good. The IPOD inteface cost more than a decent after market double din head unit. I'd just go with a full aftermarket system which has better sound, better NAV, and better IPOD interface.

i think the OP means replacing the Bose unit with an aftermarket unit.

yes, I meant replacing it with an aftermarket. I ended up finding some good info on renntech but now I'm considering The Dension Gateway 500 or the Mobridge. Basically I want ipod and bluetooth in the car. The bose system sounds good enough for me so I don't want to go replacing amps and speakers.

I will have a Dension Gateway 500 for sale including the iphone cable very soon. In fact, I will have everything available as I am switching to aftermarket unit and removing the speakers, amp, headunit and the Dension.

man, wish I would have known that a few minutes ago! I just bought a new Dension Gateway Lite for $280 shipped. I was just going to sacrifice the blue tooth functionality since I found a good deal on it.
