I'm looking to upgrade my stock HID (996 turbo) to 6000k or 8000k. Any vender here selling them?

Should I get D2S or D1S for my headlight? and H3 for foglight?

I bought some 10k bulbs for like $12 on ebay ... fitted them within 10 minutes job done!

Yes on the H3s. I installed a kit last year with 6000K low beams and it rocks.

Just a side note for you, the further away from 4300-4500K you get the less light output you have. Something to keep in mind as you choose your bulb temp.

Yeah, I would not suggest going higher than 6000K.

I recently purchased a pair of Osram 5000k D2s bulbs for one of my bmw's and have been happy with the result. Much "whiter" light with similar output to the stock 4300K bulbs.

It seems like a lot of people using D2S which is why I'm confused.. Which one is right?

For 996TT, low bean are D2S, fog light are H3. We can get 6K, 8K bulbs or kit for you. PM me for details!
