What drone. The things are so loud at WOT you can't hear yourself think.

I love my loud exhausts especially next to a Harley or a guy with loud speakers.

On any forced air inducted car, especially a turbo, you do not want any back pressure. I just had my car done at evoms and it got the most power with no cats or muffler, straight off the turbos with no back pressure was the best. Of course you wouldnt run it right off the turbo's so we did no cats and evoms mufflers with 76 mil tube., that gave me most power. They are the ones that gave me this info about back pressure on turbo cars.

that is the general consensus but there have been multiple people on here report a gain of low end power with a muffled exhaust system versus straight pipes *shrug*

True, on my set up they did 76 mil tube, no cats, but burns mufflers. Im assumingthey put the mufflers on for that reason.

I finally was able to fix my CEL p0103. It was an air leak cause by an o-ring that not seated correctly.

Hey Guys, Is there really a noticable difference going from big 100 cell cats to no cats with both having the same size exhaust piping on 600HP to 700HP cars??...Thanks...

Not sure why people are losing low end, but I just got a 3" straight pipe w/crossover & 4 mufflers done by a local shop (kind of like Markski's design w/single outs) and picked up 25 RWHP pretty much THROUGHOUT the range - I need to dig up the pre/post dyno sheet, but definitelly a noticable improvement.

Not for "I don't want any drone" folks, but IMO, the car only now sounds like it should have from the factory.
