Im running 100 cell cats straight pipes, my question is, Can i run straight pipes without the cats, do i have to retune my car.... I have the 750 package from evolution.....i was under the impression that i needed some sort of back pressure, thats why i had the 100 cell cats........

 

Yes, but you'll need I an ECU proggy to trick the system to think the cats are there. No back pressure equals a later start to the torque curve, but more of it when you get there.

My 2004 996 TT is stock, I just added a set of straight pipes with 100 cell cats, but now I have CEL p0103, the car is in limp mode

 

What does limp mode run like.

 

Reduced or no Boost.

straight pipes are loud as hell, so loud its ear piercing and most people have lost low end power with straight pipes on these cars.

 

Listen smartass lol my pipes at idle are quieter then my previous exhaust. At wot it sounds like music and during vacuum sounds like im in a jet taxing the runway. Did I lose low end I don't think so then again I have Fvd straing pipes not your backayard straight pipes.

+1 on straight pipes being quiet at idle. I do feel like I lost some low end power compared to the PSI exhaust I was running though.
