Straight pipe question
my car is LOUD and i LOVE it , i love beeing next to the concrete dividers on the highway and stomp on it with the windows down , and here the exhaust the turbos and intakes and my external 44mm wastegates ... its intoxicating !!!!!!!!!
I will find any reason to be next to those concrete dividers just to get on it or rev it, Tunnel and forget it. I love to make pretty sounds
Nick if you're ever in the area let me know. I know that Polish clown we call Markski will be in CT at some club. I was thinking of shooting over there and breaking his chops. June 12th I believe

This is true on most cars.
Haha, I love that you broke out concrete dividers - they are doing some highway work near my house so the fast lane is EXTRA CLOSE now...... and I use the road as much as I can...lol
As far as losing low end with the reduction of backpressure, this is true on everything but a turbo, including supercharged cars. Turbos are just little fans that move and compress air, if you restrict the ability for them to exspell the air that they are trying to displace, they will not be as effective.
I suppose that in the small amount of time that occurs before the turbo spools up that the exhaust being open would create a torque loss, but it will also allow for a faster spool time from the turbo(s) which makes the torque curve increase.
I have been doing exhaust for some time, and I have never had a turbo car lose torque from the reduction of backpressure.

Thats exactly what I thought. Is there typically a support strap or something to not strain the turbo with overhung weight?
I do realize that pipe is very light, just curious.
Also, do you sell that setup for a 996tt? PM me a price please.
I have not made one for the 996 for sale but iT dont see why I cant... problem is the tips.. thats where all the money goes to so the price can go up $400 just by choosing different tip design.... we make them from scratch...
