I am looking for a Polar silver wiper delete plug and door lock plug.

BP no longer has in Polar. Does anyone know of another source?

Thanks

That's too bad. I was thinking about doing that at some point as well but my car is Polar Silver also. Rare color, not many of us out there.

go to home depot or a hardware store, buy the plastic plugs, then go to an autobody supply store and get color matched spray paint, total cost probably less than 20 bucks, satisfaction for having done it yourself = priceless

I painted mine as above, its so small even if you are horrible at painting it'll still come out looking nice. Cost about 20.00 total.

And what's wrong with the rear wiper? . Are the door lock plugs for both doors and easily removable? Don't you have to open the door with a key after 5 days of sitting? Of course, no one should have their Porsche sitting for 5 days....

Are you sure it isn't available? I see it listed on their site.

Sorry for the out of stock situation, we have cancelled and refunded your order.

If something comes back in Polar I'll let you know.

Thanks.

Same here (for the bumper plugs). I bought primer colored bumper plugs and used the touch up paint. I suspect that the wiper plugs are small enough that even a brush will do.

I'd prime it first with some plastic specific primer and prep well to avoid chipping.

OT - Why is this a common mod? Is it that the wiper does not work so deleting is easier, or you want to be a GT2, or weight savings...I know the arm and motor are worth 15 lbs (guessing) is it worth getting rid of 15 lbs? I am at a loss as to why one does this.

My understanding is that it's for the looks. Personally, I never notice it so I don't feel compelled to remove a functional item. Then again, I haven't spent the $$ to change out my amber side markers yet, and I still have my front plate attached .

Haha, you seem to fall in the same camp as me, I am kind of an OE+ guy, unless we are talking about engines, then that is a TOTALLY different story
