Carbonetic Triple plate carbon clutch owners. Need your feedback.
They were saying that there will be a new version coming out early next year that why they stopped making the current ones.
it's very very aggressive, the car is shacking when moving, you can run from the street lights fast, you can only move very very slowly with all the shacking etc or you can take off your foot from clutch pedal when 5000rpm on the instruments, my mechanic did all the procedure carbonetic provided with.
I hate this car with this clutch.
my carbon lsd died 3 days ago, I never did a race track with this carbonetic parts. I did like 4 hard lanches.
I spent a lot of money on the parts and a a lot of my mechanic, he did many modification carbonetic asked for.
I think they stopped production because of many issues.
they also stopped production of honda type r lsd as they had a lot of problems with overheat.

I have none of the shaking! Do you feel a vibration in the clutch pedal? There is something else at play with the shaking.. Missing needle bearing on the clutch shaft, bent fork, tranny mount, motor mounts, excess play in cv joints or slop in the diff/ring gear. Jack the car up and check how much free play you have when turning the wheel with the car in gear. As far as the lsd why would not run a Guard trans or Porsche motorsports unit? They are proven.

no vibration on clutch pedal, I fell vibration on the car, it's hard time for gearbox etc, I'm running with rs engine mounts.
it was working all but for 1000kilometers.
I would never recommend this clutch to anyone that driving the car on the streets.
there is something wrong then forsure, the clutch brakes in hard but it should be smooth operationally.
Thanks guys! Latest update from Carbonetic USA is that I won't be able to have it for 6-8 weeks because they can't source the flywheel for it. I am cancelling my order and buying something else. I am totally lost on what to buy.
Dan at vivid has had a clutchmaster stg 3 on his 825 hp car for over 3 yrs & I have had the CM 3 in mine & it is perfect,it grabs great & has the same engagement point as my stock GT2 clutch.
Not sure what your HP goals are but unless you are doing a big build I think the CM 3 will work fine.

Mine shakes the car to but thats if i dump it at 5500 LOL
Never noticed any issue at all and if you break it in the way Todd tell ya to it can be slipped but not a great amount.

Yup Carbonetic no longer makes the Porsche clutch. We recommend the Clutch Masters Twin Disk for many reasons if you read the description. This is going in my 997TT shortly!
