I have had a tune on my car for a while now, How often if any should i have my tune updated? I havent done any new mods since the tune .......

 

If you are happy with it, then leave it alone. Tuning has gotten alot better in the last 2-3 years so if it is older then that . . . .. contact your tuner.

The addiction has taken over so as far as being Happy well, i always look for a reason to do more. But within reason, obviously if its not necessary then i wont get it. Thanks for the advice......

 

Depending on who your tuner is, you probably won't find much extra from another tune. Bigger turbos are the next step up. Who's tune is on your car now?

 

Im not wanting to find another tune but maybe update mine, if it needs to be. I have the Evoms Tune... Very happy, just didnt know if there was an update process...

 

A tune isn't like you iPhone software...they don't push out period updates or patches or whatever.

They may change the way they tune, or change certain maps or settings over time, but IMO **n o** tuner will admit this in that they will have a huge PR issue with updates and whatnot to deal with....

subcribed. if the car has a tune...and yiou want to swap in an aftermarket exhaust or IPD plenum with bored out TB will it need a retune?

In otherwords anything more than hoses, diverter valves, or air filter....would require a fe-flash or no?
