How hard do you drive your TT

Just sort of curious how hard you drive your cars. I think I some times baby mine too much. What revs are you keeping your engine at most times regardless of actual speed. Should I keep the revs above 3-4 most of the time?

Thanks for your input...

Oh I baby my car:P

Ya know the prolem is there's too much traffic so I actuall do end up a lot of the time jus' cruisin'. I guess it depends upon where each modded TT's powerband is really at but on yours you are right in the good spot. Mine's a lil' higher because I have bigger turbos so they come on a bit later...

I dont drive mine at all . . . . at least not for the past 3 weeks.

When I do drive it, I never exceed 4000 rpms or 45 mph.

Hey Robert -

I try to get right up to the rev limiter at least once every time that I drive it. I have no problem keeping the rev's up at 4k. It's hard in the bay area to really let these things fly, but I do so whenever possible. I don't worry much about babying it. I bought a kick-*** car for a reason.....so that I could kick some ***! I plan on getting my money's worth out of this car. This is not to say that I abuse the car. Rather, I'd say that I cautiously drive it for it's intended purpose.

I hit the rev limiter in 1st at leat two or three times whenever I drive it or at least to see the 1.0 bar at least once or so. Nothing like the adrenaline rush!

Hard, very hard. The car is meant to be driven and I am going to get as much pleasure out of it before it blows up.

very hard all the time ... the car gets mad at me if I don't hit triple digits every time I take it out ... it makes even a trip to Von's very interesting.

rspiteri,

just looked at your sig and noticed you have a very similar car to mine except powerwise i am stock.

due to traffic i end up cruising a lot. my big thing these days is not speed, but boost and corners .

i tend to like to keep the rpms up a little to minimize lag
