I dunno Steve. I was going to get the DesignTek SS ones - I need something better looking, and have given up in my search for black ones.

Frafoss?

I need black ones too! (obviously)

I'm probably going to get the DT SS ones and find someone to powdercoat the heads black (maybe Design 911 can do this in-house?). Shouldn't make them so much bigger so as the lug wrench won't fit, and durable enough at the same time. Would you be in - I'll order two sets and get em done?

I ordered the Designtek bolts. Quality seems to be nice, but they was not steel grey, but more bronze. With silver and grey wheels thats not nice. With BBS magnesium wheel, perfect.

Bizarre! mine were Silver/Chrome

Jim, Don't think the powder coat would work on these, at the moment I am using Black plastic caps (bit cheap), It does the trick, especially on stockers as the bolt holes are deep, but agree could do with something bit better.

Think they would have to be something like an anodized bolt, I don't know if anyone does this.

I've been reading the last page of this thread and I see you guys need help with some black bolts. I have a set of black wheel bolts for my NA. They look great. They are black chrome dipped. Ralph booth has them. Hope this helps.

I only asked because what I bought from Ralph Booth were replacement studs with black lug nuts. I wasn't aware he offered black lug bolts. Ruf also offers a kit with replacement lug studs and black lug nuts.

Good find lilstan! +10 rep for you!!!

Stevo - Here's the scoop. I just got off the phone with Ralph Boothe (real nice guy too). What he can do is a set of 16 black-chrome bolts ($192) + 4 matching black-chrome wheel locks ($95) for a total of $287. That's only 143 bucks for you and me!

That'll look MONEY inside our black wheels baby!

I'm going to be in NYC for 2 weeks starting on the 2nd. Ralph said it'll be easier to ship them to me there. If I order 2 sets, are you down for one? Let me know and I'll order them tonight.

Later

No prob, did you get a chance to measure the length?

They really do look great on black wheels. I have a picture of mine somewhere on here, do a search.
