Titanium bolts are in the house!
This is so stupid. Why is everyone ganging up on this guy. HE is happy why does everyone care?!?! 1LB of unsprung weight is = to 7 pounds of sprung weight. Nice upgrade if you got the money. Why not make fun of everyone on here that spends over $100K to be .1 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile. Something Porsche was never interested in being fastest through anyway. Trust me if I had the money I would be doing all of it and then some. I feel its unfair to blast soemone for some bolts. He's not claiming they take seconds of his track time LOL Just my .02

I think they look great. we use alot of Titanium in the factory where I work and it is far superior than steel in terms of strength, corrosion and ability to handle higher temperature. If you can afford it and like them, go ahead and get them. It is a free world.
If they don't brake or cause weird galvonic corrosion issues...it is a good thing.
On the corrosion front....best to look at ti bicycles and what has to be done to deal with those bolts. There is special ti loctite.....in this application, this to me is critical....I don't want issues in my wheel hub...
Driving where there is salt would be a no no with these...aluminum/ti hybrid bolts perhaps.....just worth a thought.

I use anti-seize or lock tite on all bolts just out of habit. We work with motorcycles primarily. They are made with so many different materials and it is all in the elements...We take them apart alot--and we don't want things falling off...
