How much time do you spend a week on car stuff?

I recently was confronted by friends/family about how much time i look at car stuff.

I spend time buying cars and parts, dreaming of builds, driving the cars for fun, call friends about cars, reading excellence, 6speeding, rennlisting, web searching, what else can i mention........

Anyhow, I sat down and thought man i must spend about 7-10 hours a week .

I decided that it was time well spent

I spend close to 12 hours a week. That includes checking out prices, cars for sale, forums, mags, etc...
Wife supports this as it keeps my mind off other stuff

10 hours? I do that in two days lol. I don't watch tv anymore, my home entertainment revolves around car forums, kinda sad. Although when I'm not at home, I am pretty active doing other activities.

Oh man I really don't want to think how much time. I kill at least an hour a day on forums alone, then racing on TV, wrenching, driving, chatting with people about cars, and club activities! I think the term is car nut!

LOL!!! he just turned five and he has been cruising with the girls, since he turned 2 in his electric cars... spiderman, jeep and hummer. He recently asked about racing cars. Perhaps our children will meet in the next PCA Nationals or Mexico runs

If I thought I was mechanically capable more importantly had more patience I probably would be up in the 40 hours per week messing around on the cars.

my mom and wife always say that my only mistress will be cars. Whenever my whereabout are unknown they assume I am at a dealership checking out something new. Then when I am ready to buy the hours of computer searching quadruples. Thats why I love this forum we can be sick together.

Between the Internet, magazines, books, and actual car events, I'd say 7-10 hours per week is probably on the low end for me.
