I make over 600 on pump and the car never breaks down.

Does Steve Ott do all your work?

Bad107 did you go ahead with this setup? Todd seems confident with mafless tune on tips also...
fender intakes going to be the only route to go bigger...tranny's too big for all that piping so might as well delete the stock intake/inlet pipes and go fender cone intake

if you go fender intake...what do you do with the stock existing piping? Take it all out and save some weight? assuming you'll never go back to stock

Actually his car was converted several years ago to a maffless as Softronic has offered this for all Porsche cars since 2011.

Best,
Scott

But if your not running a blow thru MAF then you cant use it... then you might as well do our soft piping set up...

Back from the dead.

Wait wait wait. Why CANT you run just the inlet pipe off the turbo with a MAF?

Protomotive has come out with a new setup that are made on a 3D printer. About $1200 and comes with filters and hoses. Pretty sweet looking setup...

Because there are 2 turbos and only 1 MAF; so if you are running a MAF off of a fender intake inlet on one turbo, you are only metering half of the airflow and the car would not get the correct readings.

I would think he could make it a little less restrictive with a more gradual transition but it's got to be a ton better than the stock setup for sure! He really does seem to be doing terrific things with his 3D printer though! An off the shelf fender inlet at a reasonable price would be pretty sweet, I hope he or someone else puts them into production.

Just to clarify, those are not prototypes. They are available now.

Thanks
