Question PCCB on track

I know people might have asked this before. But this happened me recently.

I have a 996 turbo with PCCB(probably Gen I). the PCCB was great until I took it to DE recently. I saw the pads were chipped on edges with chunk and rotors had circle marks on them. I knew it was not good sign. So I did some research. People were saying using Porsche green label pads or Pagid RS 19/29 for track. So I have a few questions.

1. Where I can buy the Porsche Green pads(P-50??) and/or Pagid RS 19/29 ?
2. should I swap the system to steel if I want to to track again or PCCB with with racking pads would be fine?
3. if keep PCCB, should I still install black pads for streets and change them to racing pads before going to track or just no tracking at all?

Thanks, guys!!!

The senior Porsche Technician at our Porsche Dealership in Vancouver is often involved with tracking cars including a Carrerra GT. They have changed the rotors on those cars to the Steel/iron ones from PCCB rotors. They had to get Brembo to do custom rotors for the CGT to stand up on the track. I guess this is the reason the GT2 upgrade kit that Kevin of Autowerkes sells.

P-50 Ceramic Porsche Motorsport pads can be purchased through TRG (the racers group) and the Pagid RS 19/29's are endurance/racing pads for steel rotors.

You can buy Pagid 29's Yellows and Blacks form Rennstore, I think the guys name is Craig and he is very helpful. You can also get them from RSS I think and they have great stuff also.

I run Yellows up front and Blacks on rear on the stock rotors and soon to be the Girodisc 2 pc rotor that I just bought from RSS. From what I hear from other track guys, most if not all of them who had ceramic have gone to steal with race pads and good fluid like Castrol srf or Motul 600.

For now, my decesion is to keep PCCB just for street use. I will swap the steel before taking it to track.

Anybody knows about suncoast PCCB to steel conversion kit? is it good.

Thanks again!

How do you find your current setup, I am about to do stick RS19 yellows up front with standard pads on the rear with Castrol SRF fluid for my upcoming track day.
