996TT vs GT-R

Can a 996TT beat a GT-R? If so, what would it take? 1000whp? 750whp? Can someone tell me please?

It appears the 996 wasn't in the right gear or didn't brake boost. As hard as it pulled the GT-R up top, I seriously doubt you need 484rwhp.

Of course this assumes the GT-R is stock.

I guess the real answer is the 996 turbo will need more hp than the GT-R regardless of tune to win.

It depends on what GT-R you want to beat,because 1000WHP 996tt may NOT be enough.

But don't worry 996tt are excellent racing cars.

I know about a half a mile race in Puerto Rico where a 996 turbo with just EPL flash, fabspeed exhaust and agency power intake and a good driver make a good race with a 2012 stock GTR. The GTR was in the front by just one car length in the finish.
