Input needed: H&R Coilover Suspension

Wanted to find out more about the H&R coilover street perf system. Anyone have this setup on their 996tt? Is it an improvement over stock? I am interested in lowering the car but also making improvements over stock if I am going to the trouble/expense of making changes. My local indy told me it is a 10 hour job. Sound right?

Thanks Ken! I do have 19's on my car now. I don't want to degrade ride quality to the point of not enjoying it on trips. Also, good to know about the toe links. It appeared as if one of the kits included them. Not sure if this one does.

Okay, that's good info. I will hit you up for brand preferences/recommendations in the near future. BTW, I am subscribed to your catless exhaust thread and awaiting the info on that!

i have recently been looking into these H&R coilovers for basically the same reason. I saw them on tirerack. Is there somewhere that is currently having a sale on them?

anyway, you mention about doing toe-rods. are there specefic toe-rods to get, or from a certain place? I want to make sure i get it done right.
thanx

I've had the H&R coilovers on my car and I loved them. I ended up getting rid of them because I needed to daily drive it and it was just a bit too low for the NY streets. A year later I bought a set of the H&R sport springs and love them too. Obviously coilovers are better but the springs have been great so far for my daily uses.
