Are you able to open the trunk/bonnet with the key fob? If not, you may want to look for a blown fuse in the security module underneath the driver's seat. If that fuse goes out, the alarm will not turn on; you can't unlock the doors; and you can't open the truck/bonnet with the key fob. Good luck.

I will look tomorrow and post it, but it's a small blue fuse with a 15 on it. I think it's a 15 amp fuse.

I came in to look for this lol I have the same problem however I can not open the hood from the inside of the car either..

so my problem is:
remote does set the alarm, won't unlock the doors or the hood.
my hood will not open from the interior contro either but it does open the trunk.

Great to hear that you were able to fix the problem. Glad I could help.

It took me two trips to the Porsche dealer and one trip to an independeant shop (and a few $100s dollars later) with no success before I was finally able to figure out the problem on my own!
