Would do exhaust - Can't decide on which one yet, want a sound as close to the 997.2 GT3, but I understand 7k rpm vs 8.5krpm is a big difference, plus the silencing effect of the turbo's
Intake
Hitachi Maf
Upgraded Diverter Valves and Boost hoses
Evomsit tune

Car would not ever be "tracked", would just use the hp to mess around my the guy down the streets Audi 5.2 Spider on long straight roads.
If you got the money why not. But don't stop at just the power mods. Take a more balanced approach to your mod fever. The car feeds on suspension mods as well as power mods. Spend some time developing a balanced power/suspension package with Alex@Sharkwerks.

Don't want to hi-jack this thread but a question on the same subject. If you have a non-Porsche tune on your ECU, can you pull that information from the memory and how do you do that? Will it show sufficient information so you can identity the tuner that provided the tune as well as the version / release / ID / serials number??
I also understand that, if you take your car to a Porsche dealership and they hook you up to the "brain" it will automatically "reset" your tune to the latest Porsche tune for your car. Is that correct?
So if that is all true... how do you make sure you do not lose your tune (and as such the money you invested in that 3th party upgrade) every time you drop your car off at the Porsche dealership??.
Just curious.

To unload an aftermarket tune from you ECU you'll need that tuner's software program and perhps a durametric cable (provided know who the turner is and that tuner provides it's software such as Softronic or GIAC with the flash loader) and your original tune file. The Porsche ECU tool (Piwis) will most likely not be able to identify or save your aftermarket tune. If the dealer overwrites your tune and you don't know the tuner, you're out of luck. I think you can request the dealer not update your ECU files. While all tuners have pluses and minuses, it is very convenient to have the turner's software on your laptop with the original and modified tuning file you don't have to go back to the tuner to change between the program. Perhaps some of the tuners on the board could lend some more specific advise.
