Sending parts to the US
If I'm sending K24s from the UK to the US, would the buyer have to pay any additional costs?
I've never sent anything internationally before and just want to check everything out before hand
Thanks everyone

yes duty taxes... depending on the value you put... but more importantly package them very very very well... you can damage them before he even gets them.. seen it 4 times already... first of all.. cover the oil passages with take and put each turbo in a separate plastic garbage bag and tie them... then when in box make sure they dont drop to the bottom during shipment.. thats where they go bad... and make sure they do not bang against each other...

Make sure the description matched the value.
"Used Scrap compressor assembly for rebuild"...etc. Be creative.
There are different rates for different items, but 10% would be a guess. (I've only shipped medical products...)

Customs requires anything over $2500.00(or 2000.00 I always get the two mixed) to make a formal entry which could delay the process(for commercial). For non commercial, which I assume you are, I believe that number is $200.00 in declared value. If the wheels were worth "$150.00", duties would not be assessed and it would be treated as small parcel non commercial shipment, per the Code of Federal Regs, but dont quote me
If you are commercial and declare value of 2500, youll need to assign an HTS which determines duty rate

Based on what I've heard and read so far I'm planning on pulling the fuel pump tomorrow - I'm suspecting a faulty 'u pipe' on the pump
