I might have to do the unthinkable...

Guys,

I am going to be in baltimore, MD for a month for work reasons.
Im concerned that my car might draw to much unwanted attention, and was thinking about putting back the OEM exhaust.

my current set up is fabspeed catbypass, fabspeed gen 1 , evo headers.
the car is obnoxiously loud, but i absolutely love it.

If i put back the OEM exhaust, but left the catbypass and evo headers on the car... would the car be significantly quieter, specifically on cold starts ... and, would there be a significant loss/gain in low end torque ?

Don't do anything. Be a boss - it's a 911 turbo. :-)

Not to mention you won't be able to use the cat bypass pipes with your stock exhaust. Your stock exhaust is sold from turbo to tips. I agree with others, don't demod the car.

Yes, I love our 911 Turbos but it's not like you're driving a Lamborghini or an Enzo. Just stay out of the seedy areas, keep your doors locked and valuables out of plain sight.

Steve you'll be fine buddy...no issues here in Bmore, we have a ton of modified cars in the DMV (DC/MD/VA) area making gobs of power and very loud...cops here in Bmore have real issues to take care of and leave the cars alone...

Let me know when your in town bud...we can meet up grab a brew and/or some fresh steamed crabs (a popular thing over here)...I know some great spots, clubs, bars, lounges, strip clubs etc...im in the city. Same thing for any of my 6speed bros, Mark, Adam etc...

who knows bro you may end up leaving town with a Raven's jersey on your back...

I am a native Baltimoron like Sunir, and you will be fine. The posts here are correct. The police do not care as long as you behave. My GT2 has no cats at all, and my car before that had headers and full Bassani exhaust with no hassles. I lived in Canton for years in B-town. Have fun while you're there. IMO Baltimore is one of the most under-rated cities in America. There is a LOT of fun to be had there, not to mention GREAT food, among other things.
