I am new to this Forum but from what I can see this is the place to get some great advice on performance upgrades on your 996 TT. This is my first 996 Twin Turbo but I have been a Porsche owner for years. Most of my previous cars were older 930's and 964 Turbo's, but I am thrilled to have a 996 Twin turbo in the stable.
I look forward to getting to know the members here on the board and sharing any ideas and experiences of Porsche ownership.

Welcome aboard, you going to enjoy the forum, very informative. Also you said you just bought a 996, but yet I see a 997 Turbo in you avatar, so is that a mistake or the car you really have, which means you have the 997 model?

 

Thank you for the Nice welcome. In answer to your question the 997 Turbo on my Avatar is a previous car of mine, and I now have a 2004 996 TT. I am looking forward to all of the helpful information on tuning this 996 TT.

RVHPNo80.... I go through a lot of different cars and I had someone that really wanted to buy my 997 TT. I also wanted to buy a 996 TT and do some mods to a less expensive car. I am always looking to try new and different cars, so you will see me going through everything from Mercedes SMG cars to Porsche turbo's; that being said, I have always been a Porsche Guy...

I bought all my parts from Markski@911tunning, I/C's,WG's,FPR,tune files from Proto twice,K24/18'gs,injectors,intake and he's been very supporting and honest person.

I'll soon,hope at the end of the week, start installing a few parts i just got from Mark. Im expecting improve my car performance so much as the first time i installed the K24/18g's,FPR and Proto tune file.The car just flys.
