MAF Failure but boost seems to be ok?

I had the trifecta of ABS, PSM and CEL show up at my dash a few days ago. Switched to another MAF and now, 5 days later it is back, glowing like a christmas tree.

The thing is - it seems to have issues with low revs but car pulls strong and boosts totally OK in high rev range.

Is that normal with broken MAF?

When I had my B5 RS4, broken MAF meant no power in the upper area...

Thanks in advance

sounds like a boost leak.

do it from the turbos... you block one side off and pressure the other to 20 psi... look for leaks... most P car shops do not do it right.. they are not used to high pressure testing.. they just smoke test from the airbox.. thats not right when you want to find the real issue...
we make these and use them...

Hey guys, thanks for your suggestions. One thing though - when I changed MAFs after the first one failed a few days ago and disconnected my battery to cancel faults it was OK for 5 days, only came back today. Car feels a little unhappy at low revs now that all the lights are back on. I think boost leak would not cure itself for 5 days with another MAF in?
