Newbie - Help me find a 996 TT

Im new to he 996's, but I've owned a couple 993's.

My last race car was a turbo, and now after selling a company I'm looking for a 996 TT to use as a daily driver.

I have the modification bug, so it won't stay stock for long.

About the only cars I don't want are The colors silver or black. I also want a manual - no tiptronic.

So, help me find my new baby!

Please!!

Jon
Irvine, CA.

There are a lot of nice cars available in the for sale sections of this very forum, most owned by very passionate Porsche owners. Check it out!

I have, but I only see three 996 tt's listed. Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

Try both the PCNA site which will list used 996TT by dealership. Also try autotrader. There are a lot of garage queens will low miles still around. Have a PPO inspection performed. If your going to mod the hell out of it, a basic 996TT would be a good choice. The X50 package, Aerokit, and PCCB options are nice but not needed if you have an extensive mod budget. Approach your mods in a coordinated and systematic fashion with forethought of your ultimate goal. Deal with shops that have an extensive history in completing the mods your considering.

Great advice that I will heed myself as I start my own search. Thanks!

Meaning - i couldn't find the ad, then I found it! Beautiful car, absolutely stunning. A little out of the price range I was considering though.
