FS: 996TT Race Car... If you want fast, this is it....

For sale is a 2003 996TT Race Car. This car is still has bought new by the current owner and built to this level. Car is a converted street car and has been an exclusive track car for the past 3 seasons. The car has been meticulously maintained and upgraded along the way. Car is 2wd putting out 875HP at the motor (using 1.2 BAR boost max). Car runs GT1 Porsche Club racing. Numerous wins in series. Car has only had minor body repairs (front fenders). Nothing ever more serious. If you are looking to blow by 997 Cupcars on the straights, and stay ahead of them in the turns, then this may be for you. Some of the modifications:

New GT2 motor from Porsche (4 years) with K24 hybrid turbos
LWFW with Cup balancer and belt setup from RSR
Penske 3-way adjustable shocks (1600/1400 springs, 3 months old)
Cupcar 350mm brakes front and rear (6F/4R piston calipers, Brembo type III rotors front, new in last 6 months)
Rebuilt transmission 7/11 by Brian Copans (Guard GT LSD, shorter gearing, GT1 3rd gear)
Larger intercoolers (new within 6 months)
Short intake with filters in fenders using MAP for engine air intake sensing
GT2 ABS so no PSM
Cupcar steering rack
All monoball/adjustable arms for suspension with solid GT2 suspension cage mounts in rear (all new within 6 months or 1 event)
Electric power steering (997 Cupcar unit, installed in March '11)
Oil to water transmission oil cooler
Larger intake y-pipe and throttle body
AIM electronic dash with SmartyCam (Smartycam 6 months old, Aim dash installed brand new)
Complete Roll Cage setup
All Polycarb windows
Coolsuit setup
Carbon hood and roof
Carbon Headlight covers (headlights come as spares and still work), and Carbon Cup mirrors
GT2 front bumper with 997 Cup spoiler
Cup style rear wing
Motorsport engine mounting / transmission mounting w/cables and shifter
2 sets of CCW wheels 18x12 R and 18x9 F
Plus MORE...

Car needs absolutely NOTHING. It is ready to pull off the trailer and race.

Asking $78,000

Please let me know if you have any questions. I will post more pics. The current state of car is a flat black wrap. Car color is still yellow...

No way!!! Selling, really? Is he getting a cup?

That mod list is way short. I could double it without even searching any threads.

Good luck with the sale. Bob, what's your number again, I want to talk to you about the ABS.

This is probably the most well sorted 996TT race car ever built. And it's track tested and well maintained. If you want a "true" 996TT Supercar for the track, this is your best bet. And it is a STEAL at $78K... AND, much like my car, most of the build documentation is available here on the 6...

Amazing...
