What about a 944 turbo spec'd for the track? That will run you probably 15k-20k, that's it, and it will be a truly visceral experience...

I thought about the 944, but I'd like a street legal car to play with. I don't want to be stuck with only a sedan for the street.

This car....

sings to me....
Love this combo... reminds me of Darren's old 355 spider.

Elise
Fantastic color combo - elegant, not flashy like many of the colors the Elise comes in. You'll already get plenty of gawking just for the car without drawing more attention with the paint.

$46k - great price too.

Driven one yet? Definately sweet cars, esp. w/ the 6 speed if you can get past the torque steer

I drove an automatic, and yes, I loved it. For $30k, you can't beat it IMO.

Why not get a GT3? I think it's perfect for what your needs are.

Somewhat trying to cut costs. My funds have actually gone up, but I'm trying to be smarter w/ my money these days.

At the same time, I have a need for 2 cars now... a sedan and a sports car. I just love tracking my car, but it can't support some other needs I have such as carting clients around, etc.
So, a decent sedan would do.

So, I'm trying to make a chagne without spending anymore money than I already have.
I could just go buy another sedan and keep the Turbo, but I'd rather not spend any more on cars these days. I've wasted way too much on cars over the last several years.

you're doing the right thing. There's absolutely no way i would trade my Elise and FX45 for a Turbo.

Also if you own your Turbo outright, you can buy the Elise cash and then lease the sedan. That will give you a nice chunk of cash to invest and there really is no reason to own the sedan.

Owning a Turbo *isn't* being smarter with your money?
