you know fella's the 997 gt3rs seats are pretty much the best bang for buck. you get alcantara and great bolster support and it really freshens up the 996 interior!

Kinda expected? If you compared Ray's price to OEM price, they are a lot cheaper, you get what you paid for. But I agree, if you paid for new you should get new and not repaired seats. I know Ray is extremely busy these days getting the LED DRL sent out to customers but there should be no excuses.
Hi Bryant, I believe you miss some info. with this whole story. We first received notice for damage seats by 18th Oct. We have about 20 emails exchanged and I offer you replace or repair options. While we’re dealing with resolve options, you already file credit card charge back by 4th Nov. By the mean time, you agreed to mail you brand new covers and trim and we pay for professional shop for install. Once I request for written quotations from the shop, you just refuse to deal with us and insist to go thought Credit Card Company. The last email I’ve received from you is 19th Dec and you said you have your money back and the seats will be boxed up sitting on your step.
I’ve email Bob and Chuck regarding this and I reply Bob’s emails all the time. We have followed your instruction along and try to come up with solutions. But you refuse either replace or brand new covers options. Now you have both seats and money on your side and stop contact us for last 3 weeks. What we can only submit all necessary doc. To deal with credit card charge back. You’re still asking for refund or we sent you new pair of seats?

I had a similar experience. I think I was one of the first people if not the first person whom received Rotect seats. I order my seats black with suede inserts and arctic silver stitching. I didn't receive arctic silver sticking, and the seats were not 'leather' they were 'pleather' aka fake leather. My seats also arrived damaged and after weeks of hassling and contacting a mod, well I got some money back. I would have rather had the seats I ordered. Live and learn.
This is a carryover from the furniture industry. The product is called "bonded leather" but it is really about 5-15% leather scraps that are melted down with plastics.
Always look for 100% topgrain leather. There is some good quality top grain leather coming out of China (Han**** and Moore uses it on their furniture some times) that is high quality, but that is the exception.
They are very nice seats. Just not enough bolster support. The best seats are the GT2 carbon buckets. You are just a sissy Mike. You can sit in a sofa and be comfortable at the speeds you drive at

I DO NOT want repaired seats...I WILL NOT pay full price for repaired/re-skinned seats. I stated clearly while Chuck and others agreed that repairing my seats was not a option! You send new seats and send a call tag for these or I will move forward with my credit card claim. Email me a call tag Ray and pick your seats up... They are boxed up and ready to go. I have told you that several times! Its by your choice that you don't have them back!

So now he confirmed he has full payment back to his cc since 19th Nov and a pair of damage seats on hand. He still ask us to ship him a pair of new replacement seats for free? Is that what a vendor should do?
