I am contemplating to raise my 2003 996TT about 1 inch ( I have JIC coilovers) and realize I will need to get some alignment done too. Any recommendation as to whom can do this job (raising + alignment) in the San Mateo area and what I can expect having to pay?

 

if you change the ride height you will need a corner balance before the alignment...go see Tony at TC Design in Millpitas...call first and he will give you a quote I don't know what his current rates are but he is one of the best and also one of the most reasonable

 

I've had personally had good experiences with Custom Alignment in Mt. View. Also, with regards to alignment, I've heard that Porsche of Livermore is good as well.

 

Custom alignment is very well regarded but pricey for run of the mill alignment work.

+1 on TC Design in Milpitas. They really know what they are doing there and come highly recommended by many Porsche owners. They did my latest alignment and it's great.

 

Call Sharkwerks in Fremont. If they can't do it themselves they'll tell you who they use.

There's also Jerry Woods in Los Gatos.

 

I have tried both TC Design and Kraus Racing, both are very good.

 

Call Paul Medina at Rector Porsche in Burlingame both alignment and Corner balance with a Porsche dealership warranty...
