Kennedy is pretty well known in the 944 and older 911 markets, but they also make products for the 996TT. I was curious if anyone has any thoughts on them or experiences? CMS suggested them to me and I was surprised that I had not read any posts on them here.

I had KEP PP in my 944 turbo, worked well with 4-puck sintered disc... I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work in a 996 turbo.

targa72e is infamous around these parts
I have a KEP in my 3.0L 944 turbo and it works fine. When I purchased my 996 turbo it came with a ASCO flywheel and KEP clutch. I will tell you that the car was all but undrivable with the stock clutch hydralic set up. It was like a on off switch and inconsistant and caught in the last 1/4" of pedal travel. In doing research this appeared to be a common problem with aftermarket clutches. I did the GT2 slave conversion and now it works like a normal clutch and holds power fine. I could find almost no feedback from anyone with a KEP clutch and 996TT. I would say if you plan on using the KEP plan on doing the GT2 conversion at the same time (I love the gt2 conversion).

Thanks,

John

My engine mods: Exhaust with 100CEL cats, GT2RS intercoolers, Aftermarket BOV and UMW 1.0 bar flash.
