Just wanted to share some pics of the porsche 996 GT2 that Santa put on my garage...

Yeah I wonder how that steering wheel ended up in a GT2!?

 

I made the same question about the steering wheel, apparently the previous owner (with multiple porsches) interchanged them...

I'd imagine they had a Carbon wheel on the GT2 and that they also own(ed) a Boxster

They sold the GT2, but wanted to keep the wheel for their other car, so just swapped them out

Just a guess of course

Very nice car, and I echo the comments about the steering wheel which simply doesn't look correct in a car of that caliber!

Awesome car. My only concern was that often, when that wheel is on a later 996 variant, it almost always means the airbag was discharged and insurance or the insured cheaped out and spec'd the much, much cheaper four spoke wheel. Have fun and keep the rubber side down!
