Wheel Color, please help me choose
I'm having a set of iForged TE-10's repaired, refinished and painted. I'm just really torn on the color to finish them in.

My concern is that the Gold is just a little too 80's looking but it really is my first choice. I love the gunmetal gray look but I think black on black is a little too played out and don't want to get close to that. I plan on wrapping my car in a Matte White down the road and I think the Gold would compliment that really well.
What are you thoughts??

To me, they both look good. Gold is a bit more flashy or bling; gunmetal is a bit more understated (with a touch of gangster
). Just depends on what you're looking for. Keep us posted on what you decide.

Well, I'm not a flashy guy. Probably just the opposite. I don't even own a watch!! But the Gold just looks sharp to me. I think if it's the right hue it will work well. We'll see. Dropping the wheels off today so I'll keep this posted.
I agree -- it will look very sharp. I'm thinking that it may not look as flashy if it's a little big darker shade of gold (and not as shiny?). Good luck!

It's a matter of taste and how much you want to be noticed or happy when you walk away or toward your car when getting into it. Given the design of your wheels I would go with gun metal. But that's just my taste. Not much help, sorry.
But then again gold would be nice if your windows are clear enough to notice your tan interior to match the wheels a bit.

At the end of the day it is what appeals to YOU that really matters. If you love them in that soft gold but find that you get too many comments you can always fib!
Personally, I think that will look great with your car. I also like the magnesium color wheels [are you sure these aren't titanium?].
Either color will provide a nice contrast to the black. Please send us a couple of images when done? [I have had the exact same color thoughts about a set of Ruf Classics I have had on my GPW 930 for decades.]

Here is a link to the article where I found the wheels, they refer to the wheels as "lighter forged magnesium wheels".

I like the gold. But a lighter, less bright version. Like on the 458. Is that gold or more of a bronze (satin gold)? Anyway, that's my vote. In for pics when you get er done. Gonna look GREAT!!!
