Moving To USA Unable to Import
Does anyone know buyers of these cars in Europe, or just Switzerland? Either that or are able to recommend a European forum or method of advertising here? I am in a tough position, I did not plan on this. Next week (1/25) I need to travel for three weeks on business. This doesnt leave me much time. I am moving in April and had planned to export the car to the US. I have since found out it is too much of a hassle.

The car can be sold easy to anyone within Europe. US customs have made it very hard to bring in any cars less than 21 years old. Not worth the cost. Wish I had more time to sell the car. Just got it how I want it.

You are allowed to drive a car with foreign license plates for one year. After a year, you will have to pay about 2500 SEK to obtain Swedish license plates. Citizens of EU countries and citizens of Switzerland and Japan are allowed to just exchange their license and not pay any fee. Owners of all vehicles must pay an annual road tax, determined by the weight of your car. It is mandatory to purchase traffic insurance and liability insurance to drive your car in Sweden.

For selling the car I would try Jameslist (as its international) as well as autotrader.co.uk and lastly pistonheads.co.uk hopefully this helps
