Should I get new turbos?

So I have been watching all the tech improvements over the last few years. its impressive whats going on.

I've been at 608HP for the last 5 years with k24/26 based turbos. The car is totally dialed in and feels great. Max boost is 1.2/1.3. Do you guys think theres any use to doing new turbos and tune or would i likely get more headaches? should i just get a different car?

How much more power can I realistically get without getting into having to build the motor? I like the fact that my car feels totally OEM and smooth.

Alternately, should i condsider having my car dyno tuned instead?

You are doing pretty good at 608. Is that with some fuel upgrades? If so you can get a set of K16/Billets and get closer to 640+. But the power will come in so much sooner that your car will feel and be quite a bit faster. it would feel like another notch. I love 'em.

additional fuel is from 5bar FPR.
I also have headers, exhaust w 200 cell, an enlarged air collector box, aluminum charge tubes, GT2 intercooloers, 700hp clutch and LWFW.

I definitely like how hard the K24/K26 hit when they spin up. Is a 16g wheel smaller on the cold side than the K26 compressor wheel?

I think you have a lot more power to extract out of your car before changing turbos.

16g's are a little larger on the inducer but not as much on the exducer. So they will make more low end but not as much up top. Billets are larger and lighter.

you mean by getting it tuned w AFRs?

everything came together as a "powerkit"

Again, I don't want to build the motor. I like having what feels like a lightly stressed DD that is plenty fast to hang with new stockers (Z06, GTRs, etc)

BUt yeah, in 2005 I was faster than most cars, now...just most cars that I run into on a daily basis. lol

You can add injectors, bigger IC's and get it dyno tuned to start....
