I recently purchased a 2002 turbo, ive been researching and i thought that the turbo/X50 cars had a deployable spoiler. And i called the dealer and was looking for the fuse for the spoiler and couldnt find one, so my question is what kind of spoiler do i have? i took a picture of the option on the window sticker if that would help anyone.

 

It looks like you have the Aero kit.
Porsche part, but an option.

 

You have the aerokit option which is a fix wing. The option code is XAA and it can be found on the sticker under the bonnet.

 

Yep and it is an $8K dollar option ( including a front spoiler).. It's sexy and looks purposeful

 

And.. reading the option sheet, you also have the X50 Option (about $18K dollars). That is a major upgrade including larger turbo's etc. NICE !!!

You have a really well optioned car. I really like the factory aero kit. It's original Porsche and won't break like the active aero standard wing.

Extra perk - without all of the hydraulic motor hardware, it's also one of the lightest wings around.
Best of all it shaves weight from the pudgy back end, which is very difficult to do (other than with a lightweight exhaust).
