2 hours and some Lucas ps stop leak(and a spoiler tool that I already purchased). 👍🏻😎. I pulled the rear spoiler, inserted a small tool in the piston top for pumping inorder to prime the line better. I was alone, and since I had removed the light already, I used the 12v from the hood light to motor the pump pistons to dead low without disconnecting the microswitch. Filled it completely with Lucas. About 3-4 ounces. They extended even and perfect. Although the spoiler fault light still alerted. I pulled the uplimit microswitch, cleaned it, and put it back in. Operation perfection for now. Thanks for the great write up!

congrats to steveharris looks bitc*n"!..
and even moreso to the above poster that successfully used lucas stopleak..im going on 4 years with that same re-bleed ( minimum ) and check em weekly for leaks. at first i thought i was again, getting uneven deployment, but turns out it was my head tilted the spoiler's just fine
though daves e-ram kit is about the best aftermarket spoiler i have ever seen, if one wants the oem hydraulic lookalike to function as intended ( i do )

Thanks Mark, I believe the spoiler bleed routine may or may not be much of a long term fix. Mine lasted a couple months then really blew.

bench just makes activating the spoiler pump w a 12v power source easier. it can be done hanging off the back of the car, just more of a pita. i'll ask him next time and pm you if he wants to discuss. he did mine in 2010. still holding, working just fine, and cost me an hour or so of VERY expensive beer lol.

exactly right. I've seen em all, and daves e-ram kit is THE proper answer for anyone for whom the simple re-bleed isn't/didn't or is no longer working as intended.
dave should be awarded a nobel wing prize to be sure.
