Jacking points

Hey Guys,

Where is the best place to jack up the car at the rear so I can get two jackstands under so that I can remove bumper and change exhaust....(I think bumper has to come off to install exhaust?

Here is what I do to lift the car. I use a small floor jack on the rear pass side jack point allowing me to get my large floor jack far enough underneath to jack on the chassis cross member about 3 feet in. Jack on that point, set a jackstand under each jack point. Piece of cake...

You'll see the cross member when you are underneath. Some guys advocate jacking on the boss cast into the engine case, but IMHO, the motor mounts weren't meant to carry that kind of load...I just throw a hockey puck onto the jack cradle and it works perfectly...
