I would definitely keep your X-50 until the 997TT has been out for at least 2 years. I wouldn't want the first year due to the changes Porsche will make for the second or third. (I.E. 2001TT vs. 2002TT)

First year models due tend to have problems that get worked out by the second or third model year. I personally would wait.
