Vertical Hedalight Adjsutment

This is simple enough per the manual. Anyone know what size hex wrench fits?

I have a whole set of long ones....

OK, I think you're talking about the hex wrench to remove the headlight assembly from the car. Just try a few and use the one that works. I'm pretty sure the vertical adjustment internally is just a Phillips screw - it's been a long time since I adjusted mine.

i'm thinkin 5.5 or 6mm hex, but some do have the + also for a phllips

i've been wanting to adjsut mine. my car is lowered and i want to point them a bit higher. where is the adjsutment on the light?

You have to remove the assembly from the car. There are two screws to adjust - one for vertical and one for horizontal. You are actually moving the whole auto-levelling mechanism when you adjust the screw for up and down.

No need to remove the headlight. You need a LONG 5 mm. Griot's sells a set that's long enough. Oh, and my 03 manual had the up/down rotation backwards.

And you can jack with your foglights as well, thats the frontmost hex. Ba aware as well that its not such a bad idea to pull the headlight and clean/lube the adjustment assembly. Its made of nylon and can strip real easy if gummed up.
