Aquamist HFS-3 - DIY

Really want to do an Aquamist setup on my car. Just curious how difficult the install is, I've installed a double din radio, spark plugs & coils (bumper removal method), oil sender, replaced check valves (lowered engine), N75, Bypass valves, have had the y-pipe / TB out etc. etc.

Is this in the same difficulty range ?

Pretty good write-up here, not sure if there are others ? http://www.impconcepts.com/porschetu...stallation.htm

What size nozzles would you recommend for K24/18g's.

Car is not my daily driver, so downtime is not a big issue. Would work with Protomotive upon completion to adjust my tune.

Any advice is appreciated.

off topic question, But on the aquamist kits are there any markings on the nozzles to know what size you have? Also has anyone experiment with larger nozzles?

Hi: I am the author of the DIY above, Thanks for the credit... The Nozzles are NOT clearly marked, but have a color coded ring on them which is supposed to designate a size, but the only way I have found is to go by the sticker on the packet. Some have an 8 on them but that is the thread size 8mm.

I have helped lots of folks do this it is a great mod and it reduces in cylinder temperatures dramatically.

Let me know if you have any questions. If you look on the website where the injection write up is, you can see all the mods I have done.

I use 1mm for all applications and ajust the map of the controller for different applications.

Ian
