Just got home from getting my Short Shift kit from FVD put in. The kit is GREAT!! I absolutly love it!!! Its is going to take some getting used to as there is much more force needed to change gears (mostly from 1st to 2nd), but I am sure it will become normal after some driving. Its great to actually FEEL it go into gear!! I reccomend this shifter to anyone considering SSK's (I have not tried other to compare, except Duane's which is SICK SHORT (Didn't drive it Duane don't worry )).

PS-Couldn't dyno today as they were cleaning up the shop and had cars everywhere, but promised I could do it next week!!
PPS-Also put a chrome hood crest on, WHAT A DIFFENECE!! Somtimes its the little things that count!!

Why we advertise for these guys who say they dont think we have "quality" members is beyond me ......

 

Darren, I understand your statement, which FVD denies, but that is besides the point...
HOWEVER:This is a message board to let people know about products and if they are good or bad...even if FVD did say that, it doesn't mean they don't make a good product and the product shouldn't be bought... I am simply telling of my personal experience with them in order to help others find the best deals and products...

Evan I am sure they make a great product - but it was Brian who emailed me that statement when we invited him to be a sponsor - we have these other great sponsors on the board that offer equivalent products and I would personally rather see companies that appreciate all of us get the business

 

Hum...thats odd because I deal with Bryan there, and he has been nothing but helpful with me, and has never had a bad thing to say about this board.... Said they just weren't interested in sponsering this boards, because they already sponser a few and most boards have the same members, so there was no need...
O well, not going to talk for FVD as I don't know who said what and I have no affiliation with them...

Evan I am not going to stoop to the level of posting Bryan's email which I saved by the way - if they want to join the board fine, they are more than welcome - no problem with that - but take my word for it

 

NO NO don't get me wrong, I believe you, just telling you what Bryan had to say...I am just surprised he would say this as he is so helpful with me...he lives down the street from me actually and when a couple of my parts came in he offered to deliver them to my doorstep personally....
