She's gone! Sold today...
Went to a good home - someone who appreciates the 996TT as an HPDE and street machine.
I took it to a DE last weekend, and parked it with for sale flyers on it. A guy there who was in the market saw it and we did a deal. I think that the thing that sold him on it happened back in April, when I ran a couple of sessions at Mid-Ohio, nose-to-tail with one of his buddies who has a tube-frame 930.
Photo below is to remind me that she's gone.

@Tim - not sure, but it will probably have a "3" in the model name.
@Larry - thanks. Probably will miss the boost. Maybe that shot of the car from the rear will be the only way I ever see it again.

I am happy for you Jon, congratulation . Hope to see pictures of your next track car. Please post them on this forum because, I guess, you will always be on the GT3 forum now ;-) Good luck with your research!
note: I was in France last week and went for a dinner with our french friend Marc in the south. Was a really pleasant evening. Of course, on the way back to Paris I did a detour (800 kms) towards Stuttgart for a small visit of the factory and the amazing museum ;-).....

The museum is really great. My wife and I went there at the end of May. I thought the coolest car was #1, Porsche's first. But there was a lot of competition!

I think I will be staying in the P-car world. The 996TT was high enough maintenance for me.
Could It be a Saab 9-3?
