Question Fuel pump 996 turbo VS 996 GT2?

Answer if you KNOW please.

The actual fuel pump regardless of carrier´s or plastic container its located in to fit in tank..is there any diffrent in capacity? Flow rate and pressure between the 996 and the Gt2 fuel pumps?

Does anyone have both pumps? what is the numbers of the actual pumps?

I dont want answers from anyone heard something from a friend or any other forum if isnt a well written and documented post about it.

Thanks in advance!

The numbers are diffrent bcs its diffrent gas tanks, i want to know what the numbers says on the actual pump alone not with the plastic carrier and everything..

Its most likley not a "996" number...VDO or Bosch or something..

The only way to tell is get the Bosch numbers on both pumps. Way too much speculation here on differences and similarities between the two cars to be sure without that. I can tell you, even if the pumps are different rates you are still better off going with a properly installed 044 Motorsport before spending the Porsche Gt car premium for a full drop in assembly. Usually the differences are too small for the price delta between the two.

Im not going for either of them, just curious how the 996 does with "bolt ons"...i heard its VDO pump not a Bosch but it migh be a Bosch from the beginning..thats WHY om searching in this now to end the discussion and "myths"...someone must have a old used 996TT pump they can look at?

Why dont you find the closest Porsche parts department and ask to look at each unit...give them a once over...take down the numbers and go from there.
