Eggman is infamous around these parts
996 GT2 cluster in a 996 Turbo ?
Will a 996 GT2 cluster work in a 996TT? Anyone try this before?

They're the same. You'll need to have Palo Alto recode it to match your ECU's odometer reading.

I'm not so sure Al as the GT2 cluster does not have the "PSM OFF" warning light since the GT2 does not come wih stability control. .

That's a $1,000,000 question. My guess is that the wiring connector may be different and the central LCD display also since the warning msgs for the TT are different than the GT2. Only one way to find out....

There's a GT2 cluster for sale online now. Who wants to bite and see if you can stick the Turbo bulb behind the PSM OFF indicator? I'm pretty sure the GT2 just doesnt utilize that "circle" in the cluster.

Not really sure what the added value of a GT2 gauge cluster over the 996TT cluster is. If you want more engine info with a factory look get the Dgauge with the single din plate.
