I know this may be a crazy question. But, I wondered if in a race could the Cayenne TT take the 360? I obviously don't mean any track handling BS, just a good old fashion street race.

If so, I would think that would be a major blow to the ego of a 360 owner.

I don't think it would be a hit to anyones ego. No more then when a mustang outruns a turbo. We all know when that happens the obligatory "it's still a POS mustang" comments arise. Likewise.

My bolt on Lightning (421rwhp 500rwtq) would have no problem against 360 modena F1 trans as long as we hit it below say 40mph. The truck shifted into OD at about 118 and after that it was dead. But I'd pull 360's till about 90-100, then aerodynamics and gearing took over

 

the best thing to do is to lend Evan's turbo to Orli and let Orli race that ferrari boy with the 360 LOL!!

 

Does that one guy with an Enzo, I think his name is Julian, have a 360 maybe you could get him to race the Cayenne. Then maybe Xico will race his Enzo and really put him in his place.

 

this has been done by me in my second Cayenne Turbo with bypass pipes and magnaflow exhaust. I launched the hell out of the 360 F1 from a stop, and he started pulling by about 45 and that was that...From a 45 roll, he would pull semi consistently but not too bad.

Now, if I had my black Cayenne, which was upsoluted and exhaust, filters, and bypass pipes, it definetely would have been a different story!

 

Evan we need this, race a 360 some time and let us know if you beat him. That would be the ultimate embarrressment. Evan what do you think your Cayenne runs 0-60?

If I remember correctly there was a member (Treynor?) who's slightly modded Mercedes S600 sedan beat a stock 996TT on the 1/4 mile track. Big f'in deal. I guess the Murcielago guy gets thoroughly embarrassed when the highly modded Mistu EVO kicks his *** too?

A cayenne GT750 would kill the rari

 

His 600 would be even with the Murcielago in the 1/4 as well, probley faster. If I remember he ran 11.4-11.5.
