Some small mods
Some small mods
Had the car for @6 months, have done mostly maintenance work so far.
Finally did a few small aesthetic mods this weekend.

Also did a Leatherique treatment. That stuff works great! My pics did not do it justice. I don't think the leather had been cleaned in a long, long time (maybe ever). May do another round in a few months.

Some pics of the interior before and after Leatherique Treatment. Tough to get a good visual comparison, but overall I was very pleased with how it worked. Safe and effective, used it everywhere. A bit messy, and the smell is 'meh' when working with the product. The leather ended up cleaner and was more 'plump' in the end.

Used it on everything that was leather. Dash, back of seats, door inserts, rear seats, everything. Bought a big bottle (32 oz) of rejuvenator oil and prestine clean, only used @1/3rd of each.
I have some wear spots on my drivers side bolsters. Did you try any of the Leatherique Dye? Or if anyone has used this and how to dye them and did the colors look good after? I'd be curious to know your experiences.
You may want to consider not using any conditioner/oil on the dash as Porsche used specially dried leather there to help prevent cracking.
I considered this Dock. I contacted Leatherique and asked about this specifically. Their response was that it is safe to use on any leather surface...I also asked about how safe it is on the deviated stitching (to ensure that will not fade after treatment) - safe here as well.
In fact, here is my email correspondence with George from Leatherique:

1. I have leather basically everywhere. Can I use these products on my leather dash and door panels? I understand that Porsche treated these areas differently than the supple seats (moisture removed prior to installation).
No that is a myth, all leather needs to be nourished to prevent cracking, deterioration, and degrading.
Just want to make sure that I don't cause any future problems with the dash or leather adhesion.
The Rejuvenator is not a cheap commercial surface dressing full of petroleum oils that would loosen the adhesive. It is only leather specific proteins and collages that nourish the hides and will not leave any oily residue.
2. Any concern if I have deviated stitching?
None at all
I assume your products will not fade, remove the stitching color -correct
just want to make sure before I apply
It is the safest, most ph correct, most leather specific product on the market, and clients are always pleased that it works better than advertised.

I don't know how to respond as I am not a leather/tanning expert, that's why I asked the rep from Leatherique who would most likely have tons of knowledge/experience in this field. Aside from his response, I can only theorize as to the best way to maintain this material.
Now for my sarcastic response....
If I am wrong, my leather dash will curl, crumble, and disintegrate in the next few days - stay tuned!
I asked the question about why Porsche removed the majority of the moisture from the dash leather because I was interested if it made sense for them to remove it only to have owners put it back.
It's obviously you car, so you can do what you want to it. Me? I've never done more than wipe my dash with a dry microfiber cloth to pick up the dust.
