How laggy are k24/18g's compared to bone stock?

My bone stock setup seems to boost at 3000 rpms, how do the 24/18's compare? Mine are the billets. How do they compare with supporting mods such as boost pippes?

I haven't thrown on boost pipes, but K24/18 versus stock K16, huge difference in spool time.

I hardly feel the K16's come on, but they come on early 2800rpm or so. I get my boost on the K24/18g around 3400rpm, but when it hits around 4k, it just pulls and pulls.

I do have an IPD plenum, but that doesn't make any difference at my power level.

I plan to go with boost pipes soon and expect to pick up 200rpm in spool time.

Go for 16/Billets. Great power and very minimal lag.

I'm looking for more spool at the same power level as the k24/18's OP. I'll end up with some Alpha A28's sooner or later. The k24/18 is still a bit too laggy IMO.

Hi,You said you are stock but then you said you have billet ones?
A good tune and a GOOD 100 cell cat or catless exhaust will make a big difference in quicker spool..Been there done that..
Once you have the right K24/18 combo , you will never look back to a stock K16 ,no tune,set-up..

I sold these to you in the spring. Put them on already. Trust me a tad more lag a lot more fun up top.

No lag. Great setup. Do it you'll be glad you did. Get some inlet pipes and cat less exhaust and they spool just fine.

Plan is to put them in this winter along with a few other things. Just concerned that they might be too laggy, so considering my options.

When I bought my car it had K16s with a flash. Then I threw on 18gs. The difference, as I remember, is about one potato, two potato literally. The power difference was night and day.
