Hi any tweaks on this unit to get better reception and sound from the phone? Also the ipod won't charge???

What firmware are you running? TMK current is 2.22. Check connections with the iPod (use compressed air to clean the connection points).

 

Firmware on iPod or Dension? It's a new unit but I will use my newly purchased compressor.

Sorry don't understand your question. Go to the Dension site for instructions to check firmware and update said firmware.

Did the firmware and unplugged everything and it worked. After about 30 min it's setup and thumbs up to Dension everything works. Swiped 120 songs for 1200. Cd changer is on the shelf and it's a nice clean install. Unfortunately I don't have the phone button.

just installed the Dension Gateway 500S (non-BT) into my PCM 2.0 996 porsche MOST system. Every works fine, but I get an error saying "CD Changer Unavailable" when i turn the car on. Has anyone else had this issue?

 

I did a firmware update and everything seems to be working. But the Bluetooth is kind of waist.

 

I'll give it a shot.. why'd you buy the bluetooth model if you don't have the phone buttons?

 

You can use your phone to answer and then switch.
