With as much power as can be made with twins, and how little room there is in there to really shift stuff around...and that the turbos really kinda just hang off the bottom of the car... I don't know why anyone would do it?

I am in agreement with vr4henry. EvoMS are doing anywhere from 550 to 1500+ HP on twins.

I could not figure out a spot that made sense and fit under the bodywork. I wanted to use one big turbo. The 996-7 just dont have the room under the pumper that the older models have.

More efficient. But most likely not worth the effort.

Hey guys, thanks for all the replies.

The vivid carera kit looks very interesting!

Like what Tim has said, I believe that one larger turbo will generally be more efficient than two turbo's, obviously on the flip side two smaller turbos should spool a bit faster. Although with todays technology, i doubt that lag would be that much different.

If im correct, two turbos rated at 500hp will spool a bit faster and have a more linear power curve, but one 1000hp turbo will be more efficient and see more power to the ground.

Also, I think it would be a really interesting project to do.

Maybe it would go with the single (center) seat conversion I saw earlier? (just kidding)
