Exclamation Who can refinish my front calipers!!!

I have been having a horrible time refinishing my front brake calipers. I have done a fair amount of paint work with success, but these calipers are eating my lunch. On my first attempt I used the Duplicolor brush on application and it looked like a turn rolled in hair. I completely striped it to metal and cleaned the **** out of it brake cleaner and it looks like brake fluid is still causing the finish to not adhere in places. I am ready to chuck there ****ers into a fire.

Anyways, I am sure there is somebody out there that can do these for a fee. I feel as though I am going backwards and am ready to pay somebody to do it.

You need to use a cleaner to remove the brake cleaner.

Well, I finally got the finish looking acceptable. Then the next night using one of the stick on porsche stencils I attempted to paint the white letters using white duplicolor engine ceramic paint. The paint cracked instantly where the white letters were. I am not sure if the paint is just not compatible or if I have to wait longer for the paint to cure better. It seemed fine, but the letters did not work out. This whole process is exhausting.

I have seen some great work on painted Calipers come out of Detailing Dynamics in Mineola, NY. They are a sponsor on here and I if you could send them up here, they wouild get it done right the 1st X. Call Eddie and tell him Jeff sent you. Theyhave done a ton of my work from detailing, Film, Custom Electronics and custom paint. I have seen calipers they have done and the final product is perfect.
